Judith Wyder
Judith Wyder (born 25 June 1988) is a Swiss orienteer.
Wyder was admitted to the Swiss national team in 2007 and ran in the same year for the first time at the Junior World Championships. In the Australian Dubbo she won the bronze medal while in the Swiss season of junior. In 2011 she made her debut in France at the World Championships of assets and occupied the same terms as the third place on the middle distance. She won the bronze medal behind Sweden's Helena Jansson and the Danish Ida Bobach. In 2012 she finished fourth in the European Championship Sprint in the city park of Falun. The victory went to her compatriot Simone Niggli -Luder before Lena Eliasson from Sweden and the Danish artist Maja Møller Alm At the World Championships two months later, she won with Ines Brodmann and Niggli -Luder the gold medal in the relay. The Swiss had in the target two and a half minutes ahead of the Swedes. 2013 she won the season championship bronze. The World Games 2013 in Columbia, she was sixth in the sprint and fifth on the middle distance. With Daniel Hubmann, Matthias Kyburz Sara Luescher and she won gold for Switzerland in the Mixed Relay.
Wyder starts for the club OLG Thun. For international seasons she is running for the Swedish club Gothenburg Majorna OK. Before 2012 she competed for the club IFK Moras OK. She studied physical therapist and received her bachelor's degree at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. They also ran at Ski - Orienteering World Junior Championships, winning silver in 2008 on the long distance.
