Justin Shugg

Justin Shugg (born 24 December 1991 in Niagara Falls, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player standing since 2011 with the Carolina Hurricanes in the National Hockey League under contract and play for their farm team in Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League.

Career

Justin Shugg began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League in which he held until 2011 for the Oshawa Generals, Windsor Spitfires and Mississauga St. Michael's Majors was active from 2007. With the Windsor Spitfires, he won for the seasons 2008/ 09 and 2009/10 respectively to the J. Ross Robertson Cup, the champion of the OHL and then the Memorial Cup, the final tournament for the championship of the Canadian Hockey League. NHL Entry Draft 2010 the winger was selected in the fourth round as a total 105 players from the Carolina Hurricanes for their farm team Charlotte Checkers he first played in the 2011/12 season in the American Hockey League. In parallel, he was early in the season for their cooperation partners Florida Everblades on in the ECHL and was once elected to the ECHL Player of the Week in October 2011.
