Kaj Ramsteijn

Kaj Ramsteijn ( born January 17, 1990 in Zoetermeer, South Holland) is a Dutch football player. Since the season 2011/12 he is at Ehrendivisionär Feyenoord Rotterdam under contract, but is currently on loan at second division club Sparta Rotterdam.

Career

Ramsteijn played in the youth in his native town of Zoetermeer in DWO. He moved with ten years in the junior Feyenoord. In the 2008 /09 season he was sidelined with football because of a persistent ankle injury more than half a year. In the joint Rotterdam youth team Jong Feyenoord / Excelsior he played in the 2009/10 season last as captain. To Eredivisie 2010/11 he signed a professional contract with Eredivisie Up SBV Excelsior. His first under coach Alex Pastoor in the first team as he had Einwechsler on 22 September 2010 in the Cup game at WK Emmen. His debut in the Eredivisie was the defensive specialist, as he came off the bench on October 2, 2010 in the closing stages of the match against Roda JC Kerkrade. On 27 November 2010 he scored in a 1-1 away draw at Willem II Tilburg in his first league goal. By the end of the season he came - mostly as a central defender, and occasionally as a defensive midfielder - to 25 league and two cup inserts for Excelsior, four times he was allowed to compete in the relegation games.

For the season 2011/12 Feyenoord took the stronger Ramsteijn back to the more successful the Rotterdam club. Here he took up the competition with the established defenders Stefan de Vrij and national player Ron Vlaar. For the second half of 2012/13 he was loaned to VVV -Venlo, was at twelve missions in the league and one not prevent the descent of the border city dwellers but in the playoffs. After the first round of the 2013/14 season, where he did not play, it gave Feyenoord again, this time for the entire season in the second division and local rivals Sparta Rotterdam.

National

Ramsteijn was appointed from the U-15 regularly in national youth teams. After his last mission in the U -19 sat for him internationally but first a break. It was not until early November 2010 Ramsteijn was first appointed to the U-21 team Jong Oranje, after head coach Cor Pot impressed despite being only a few missions at Excelsior. He made his debut on November 16 in a 3-1 win in Herning against the Danish U- 21 team when he came on after the break for Bram Nuytinck. Other games came in this season to, among other things, a " painful 1-3 defeat " on March 25, 2011 in Sittard against the German peers. Perspective Ramsteijn is one of the players for the U -21 Football Championship in 2013 in Israel for pot.
