Kapušany

Kapušany (Hungarian capital ) is a municipality in eastern Slovakia. It is located in the northern foothills of the Košice kotlina between Slanské Hills and the Highlands Šarišská the river Sekčov about 8 km from Prešov away.

The village was first mentioned in 1248 as Kapy.

Of interest in the community are: Ruins of a medieval castle (13th century), Church of St. Martin from 1789 and a castle in Rococo style.
