Karlova Ves
Karlova Ves ( German Karl village, Hungarian Károlyfalu ) is a district in the west of Bratislava on between the southern end of the Little Carpathians and the Danube as the southern end.
Description and History
The place is an old settlement site ( since the Paleolithic ). In the area of the village, there were already settlements, the most famous is Vydrica ( German Weidritz ). Under its present name of the place was mentioned until much later. Since 1944, a district of Bratislava.
