Karnak is a small town ( with a status of "City" ) in Pulaski County in the south of the U.S. state of Illinois. In 2010, Karnak had 499 inhabitants.

Geography

Karnak is located at 37 ° 17'37 " north latitude and 88 ° 58'31 " west longitude and extending over 5 km ². The place is located 8 km north of the Ohio River, which forms the border with Kentucky. The mouth of the Ohio to the Mississippi, which separates Illinois from Missouri, is located about 40 km southwest. The border with Indiana extends 140 km east.
