Kemal Özdeş

Kemal Özdeş (2014)

Kemal Özdeş ( born March 10, 1970 in Manisa ) is a Turkish football coach and former player.

Playing career

Little is known about Özdeş ' football playing career. He played mostly at several clubs in the regional amateur league of his home province of Manisa. At the end of his career he played about one and a half seasons for Manisa Mensucatspor.

Coaching career

After his football career, Özdeş decided from now on to work as a coach. The first, he worked in the season 1995/96 second division Bergamaspor and assisted the head coach here Tevfik Lav. Then Özdeş worked until the summer of 2009 as an assistant coach and assisted almost exclusively to the three coaches Lav, Mesut Bakkal and Ersun Yanal. With all three coaches he forms a common circle of friends, which is why it preferably working with these coaches. After Yanal was appointed in 2010 on the sporting director of the Turkish national football team, appointed this Özdeş to the coach of the Turkish U-19 national team. In this role Özdeş succeeded with his team to qualify for the U-19 European Football Championships 2011. In this tournament his team but different from already in the group stage. Özdeş worked alongside his work with the Turkish U-19 as an assistant coach of the Turkish U-21 national team.

After the U-19 Championship 2011, he resigned from his office and took the first division club Manisaspor and inherited the coach Hikmet Karaman resigned. After a good start to the season he slide his team for the start of the season in the lower regions of the table and then stepped down from his position.

For the 2013/14 season took Özdeş for the second time Manisaspor and inherited in the second division, who had resigned trainer rehab Erginer.
