Kosičky

Kosičky ( German Kleinkositz ) is a municipality with 352 inhabitants in the Czech Republic.

Location

Kosičky lies at an altitude of 224 m asl in the general level of Bystřice on the north bank of the river. The 10 km southeast of Nový Bydžov preferred place belongs to the Okres Hradec Králové. One kilometer to the west is the sister village of Kosice.

Kosičky has a municipal area of 784 ha and consists of 122 homes.

History

Was first mentioned in 1369 as the property of the village Čeněk of Přestavlky. 1437 were Jiri and Karel of Pouchobrady owner of Kosičky. 1521 bought by the owner of the domain Chlumetz William Kostka of Postupice the village and up to the release of the manors in 1848 were the inhabitants of Kosičky subjects of domination.

On the hallways of Kosičky community is located on the opposite bank of the Bystřice, accessible via a bridge, the deserted village Třesice. The village was destroyed in the Thirty Years' War and never rebuilt. East of the deserted village is the 70 -acre pond Třesický fishpond, which has, among other smaller ponds a rich population of waterfowl.
