Kostolná pri Dunaji

Kostolná pri Dunaji (up to 1948 Slovak " Hasvár "; Gaswar German, Hungarian Egyházfa ) is a municipality in western Slovakia near the town of Senec.

It was first mentioned in writing in 1332. To her belongs the place Maly Šúr (1943 amalgamated; German small Schur, Hungarian Pénteksúr ).

Until 1918 the village belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary and then came to the newly created Czechoslovakia, by the First Vienna Award she came from 1938 to 1945 for a short time again to Hungary.

The village is grouped around the Church of the Rosary of the Virgin Mary from the 13th century.
