The Kreuzeckgruppe is a mountain range in the eastern Alps. Together with the Ankogelgroup, the Goldberg Group, the Glockner Group, the Schober Group, the Granatspitzgruppe, the Venediger Villgratner the mountains and the Rieserfernergruppe forms the Kreuzeckgruppe the large group of the Hohe Tauern. The Kreuzeckgruppe located in Austria in the federal states of Tyrol and Carinthia. The proportion of Tyrol is limited to a small corner in the west of the group.
