Kris Humphries

Kris Nathan Humphries ( born February 6, 1985 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States ) is an American professional basketball player who is currently with the Boston Celtics under contract.

Career

After a successful freshman season at the University of Minnesota to Humphries filed for the NBA Draft. He was selected to 14 out of the Utah Jazz. The Jazz is Humphries did not prevail against All -Star Carlos Boozer and did not get beyond the reserve player. Together with Robert Whaley, he was traded in exchange for Rafael Araújo 2006 to the Toronto Raptors. Despite limited play time, Humphries has developed into a good rebounder and energizer that regularly came off the bench and Raptors star Chris Bosh relieved. In summer 2009, Humphries was transferred to the Dallas Mavericks. A few months later he was sent to the New Jersey Nets. In New Jersey to Humphries became the integral part of the Nets rotation. In the 2010-11 season he succeeded, with an average of 10.0 points and 10.4 rebounds in 74 games, the breakthrough. In July 2013 Humphries moved as part of a trade that sent, among others, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to Brooklyn, to the Boston Celtics.

Private

On 20 August 2011 Humphries married the reality TV Actress Kim Kardashian. On October 31, 2011 ranged Kardashian after just 72 days, file for divorce. Reason were " irreconcilable differences".
