Jerryd Bayless

Jerryd Bayless ( born August 20, 1988 in Phoenix, Arizona ) is an American professional basketball player. He was the NBA Draft in 2008 pulled 11 out of the Indiana Pacers and immediately transferred to the Portland Trail Blazers. He is currently active for the Boston Celtics. Prior to his NBA career, he played one years college basketball for the " Wildcats " at the University of Arizona.

College career

In his only season for the " Arizona Wildcats " Jerryd Bayless scored per game average of 19.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 4.0 assists. After this year, he decided to enroll in the NBA Draft 2008.

Pro career

Having had drawn him in 11th place, the Indiana Pacers, he and Ike Diogu were transferred immediately in exchange for Jarrett Jack, Josh McRoberts and the rights to Brandon Rush to the Portland Trail Blazers.

In the NBA Summer League 2008 he reached an average of 29.8 points, led sine team to three wins and was the best player, selected the MVP of the tournament.

During the regular season of the NBA he could until 30 March 2009 at an operating time of 12.8 minutes on average 4.4 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists reach.

In October 2010, he was traded for a future first-round draft pick to the New Orleans Hornets. After his contract expired Bayless moved for two years to the Toronto Raptors and has established itself there as a regular in the rotation. For the 2012/2013 season, Bayless moved to the Memphis Grizzlies. In January 2014, he was exchanged with Courtney Lee for the Boston Celtics.
