Kırkağaç

Kirkagac is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Manisa. The city is located about 60 kilometers north of the provincial capital of Manisa.

The district is located in the north of the province. It is bordered to the south by Akhisar, on the west by soma and on the north by the province of Balıkesir. The county town is on the road D -240 Akhisar on Soma to Bergama. Northeast of the city is the level Kirkagac Ovasi, through which the river flows Bakırçay, the ancient Caicos.

Kirkagac is known in Turkey for his melons. Meanwhile melons have attained coming from the area of Kirkagac ( Kirkagac kavunu ) in Turkey the status of a registered trade mark.
