Geography

Location

The village is located about 7 km north- west of Schmallenberg at an altitude of 390 m above sea level. Through the town flows the mill stream and performs the K 35

History

From the top yard or old farm to Kückelheim documents from the 14th and 15th centuries have been preserved. He was part of the monastery leasehold County and partly genetic. The farm had half Kaltenhof, the mill lay south of Werntroper.

Until the municipal reorganization in North Rhine -Westphalia Kückelheim belonged to the municipality of mountain living. Since 1 January 1975 Kückelheim is a district of the town of Schmallenberg.

Religion

The village chapel was built in the 17th century.
