La Vallée District

The District de La Vallée (German district of La Vallée du Lac de Joux ) until 31 December 2007, an administrative unit of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.

He covered the area of the Vallée de Joux. Main place was Le Sentier, which belongs to Le Chenit. The District was divided into the Cercle (German circles) Le Chenit and Le Pont.

The district consisted of only three communities was 163.68 km ² and counted 6237 inhabitants ( end of 2006).
