Lácar Department

The department Lácar located in the south of the province of Neuquen in southern Argentina and is one of 16 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered to the north by the Departamento Huiliches, on the east by the department of Collón Curá and the province of Río Negro, on the south by the department of Los Lagos and to the west by Chile.

The capital of the department is Lácar San Martín de Los Andes.

The department Lácar is divided into a first class municipality (San Martín de Los Andes ), the Comisión de Fomento Villa Lago Meliquina and Cuarteles Caleufú, Chimehuin, Lago Hermoso, Lolog, Paso de los Indios, Puerto Hua Hum, Quila Quina and Vega Maipú.
