Le Buisson-de-Cadouin

Le Buisson -de- Cadouin is a commune with 2094 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Dordogne in the Aquitaine region. It belongs to the district and is the capital of Bergerac ( chef-lieu ) of the Canton of Le Buisson -de- Cadouin. The municipality is situated on the Dordogne.

History

1893 changed the community Caban its name to Le Buisson. 1960, the municipalities and Cussac Le Buisson merged to Town Le Buisson- Cussac. In 1974, the municipalities Cadouin, Le Buisson- Cussac, Paleyrac and Urval were summarized to the new town of Le Buisson -de- Cadouin. The community Urval was restored in 1989.
