Legio II Herculia

The Legio II Herculia was a legion of late ancient Roman army, which was drawn up together with the Legio I Iovia to 285 of Diocletian and lasted until the 5th century. The name of the Legion takes on the co-emperor Maximian reference, who wore the " nickname" Herculius. The emblem of the Legion is not known.

History of the Legion

The Legion was stationed in Moesia inferior of ( Niedermösien ) split off new Roman province of Scythia.
