Lempäälä

Lempäälä [ lɛmpæ læ ː ] is a Finnish municipality and lies about 20 km from Tampere, close to the Lempäälä channel and the Kuokkala rapids. The center is located on an island in Kirkkojärvi. Area attractions include the Church of St. Brigitta from the early 16th century and the Lampäälä channel ( 2 km long).

Ideapark

In Lempäälä is (since 1 December 2006 open) one of the largest malls in Scandinavia, the Ideapark. It contains about 200 shops, an ice rink, an independent cultural center for children, a dog park and many restaurants.
