Lesley Paterson

Lesley Paterson ( born October 12, 1980 in Stirling ) is a Scottish duathlete, triathlete, Cross Triathlon World Champion (2012), Xterra World Champion Cross Triathlon ( 2011, 2012 ) and reigning World silver medalist on the racing series in the ITU and Xterra ( 2013).

Career

At the age of 14, she was Scottish triathlon champion. In 2000, she was Vice Duathlon World Champion in the Junior Women. Paterson moved in 2001 from Scotland to the USA and now lives in San Diego.

In October 2011, she was Xterra World Champion in cross triathlon after they had here in 2009, won the vice-champion title. In 2012 she was able to repeat this success and decide the championship of the International Triathlon Union ( ITU) for themselves.

In July 2013, it was in the Netherlands in the Second Cross Triathlon World Championships ITU and in August she was also second in the Xterra World Championship.
