Lyubov Vladimirovna Sokolova - Schaschkowa (Russian: Любовь Владимировна Соколова - Шашкова, English transcription: Lyubov Vladimirovna Sokolova - Chachkova; born December 4, 1977 in Moscow as Lyubov Sokolova ) is a Russian volleyball player. She participated in five Olympic Games, winning two silver medals. She was also twice each world and European champion. Career

Sokolova - Schaschkowa began her career in 1992 in the UK CSKA Moscow. After playing one season at Rossy Moscow, she made her debut in 1996 in the Russian national team, with which she reached the third place in the Grand Prix. In Atlanta they first took part in the Olympics and finished fourth. 1997/98 universal player stood at HAOK Mladost Zagreb under contract. During her time at Istanbul married Sokolova - Schaschkowa the Turkish volleyball player Aytaç Kılıç. So it has next to the Russian and the Turkish nationality. From her first marriage she had a son.
