List of cities in Burma

This is a list of cities in Myanmar.

By far the largest agglomeration in Myanmar is Yangon, with a population of 6,080,235 (as of 1 January 2006). Thus, eleven percent of the country's population is concentrated in the capital region.

In the table are the cities of over 70,000 inhabitants, the results of the Census ( Census ) of 31 March 1983, a calculation for January 1, 2006, and the overall management unit ( state or division ) to which the city is listed. The population figures refer to the actual city without suburban belt.
