The largest companies by turnover

The ranking is based on the year by the business magazine " Dinar Standard" in the list " DS100 - Top 100 Companies of the Muslim World," published 100 largest companies in the member countries of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference. Listed are also the headquarters and the branch. The figures are in billions of U.S. dollars and are for the fiscal year 2006.

Largest listed companies

The ranking of the annual Forbes Global 2000 list, the 2000 largest publicly traded companies in the world, is calculated from a combination of sales, net profits, assets and market value. The rankings of the companies were tallied in the equally weighted categories to a rank. Listed in the table are also the headquarters and the branch. The figures are in billions of U.S. dollars and relate to the fiscal year 2008, the market value on the market price of 27 February 2009.
