Top 500 Enterprises of China
The list of top 500 companies in China has been published since 2001 by the Chinese business club (China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association ).
From the list of 2006 showed that significantly more companies than came from the east from the west of China, most of the profits from the oil industry came, few private companies were present, compared to the global leaders in the Chinese companies were behind, the average yield of Chinese enterprises was lower than that of the multinationals and Chinese top companies concentrated in the manufacturing industry.
2006 were Sinopec, State Grid Corporation, CNPC, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Mobile, China Life, China Southern Power Grid, China Construction Bank, China Telecom and Bank of China at the top.
2010 was Sinopec for the fifth year in a row leader, followed by the State Grid Corporation, PetroChina, China Mobile, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China ( ICBC ), China Construction Bank (CCB ), People's Insurance Company of China (PICC ), China Railway Construction Corporation ( CRCC ), China Railway Group and Agricultural Bank of China ( ABC).
