Malaysian Open Squash Championships
The Malaysian Open is a squash tournament held annually for men and women. It takes place in Kuala Lumpur held in Malaysia and is part of the PSA World Tour of Lords or the WSA World Series of ladies. The men's tournament was created in 2001 and currently belongs to the category International 50 with a total prize money of U.S. $ 50,000. The women's tournament is held since 1975 and currently belongs to the category World Series gold with a total prize money of U.S. $ 70,000.
Record holder in the men 's Mohd Azlan Iskandar of Malaysians with three titles (2004, 2007, 2010 ), his compatriot Nicol David won the title in the women's eight times.
