The Mangosuthu University of Technology (English Mangosuthu University of Technology ), short- MUT, is a technical university in Umlazi in the South African province of KwaZulu -Natal. The MUT was founded in 1979 by Mangosuthu Buthelezi Mangosuthu Technikon as and in 2007 received the status of a university.

Organization

The MUT is headed by a Vice-Chancellor and Principal, the management are in addition two vice principals. The Registrar shall be representative and symbolic tasks. The line is the University responsible.

The university consists of three faculties:

  • Faculty of Administrative Sciences
  • Faculty of Engineering
  • Faculty of Humanities

The faculties are divided into departments.
