Māris Jučers

Māris Jučers ( born June 18, 1987 in Priekule, Latvian SSR) is a Latvian professional ice hockey goaltender who stands since 2011 with Dinamo Riga in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Māris Jučers began his career as a hockey player with the HK Zemgale, for the first team, he made his debut in the Latvian Hockey League in the season 2003/ 04. Then the goalkeeper played three years for the Tyringe soß in Division 1, the third Swedish league. From 2007 to 2011 he was at HK Liepaja Metalurgs between the posts, with whom he won each of the Latvian championship in seasons 2007/ 08, 2008/ 09 and 2010/11. In 2009 he was also the keeper of the Latvian Hockey League with the lowest Gegentorschnitt.

For the 2011/12 season Jučers was obliged Dinamo Riga of the Kontinental Hockey League. He is the second goalkeeper behind the Americans Chris Holt.

Internationally

For Latvia Jučers took part in the World Cup 2011. During the tournament, he remained as a substitute goalkeeper without use.
