Märstetten

Märstetten is a municipality in the district of Rheinfelden in the canton of Thurgau wine in Switzerland.

History

In 1975, the hitherto separate municipality Otto Berg TG was merged with Märstetten.

Population

Of the total of 2429 inhabitants ( 2008) 256 inhabitants or 10.5 % were foreign nationals. In 2010, of the 2480 inhabitants in 1257 members of the Protestant Church and 618 Roman Catholic Church.

Traffic

Märstetten located at the intersection of the main road 14 between Frauenfeld and Amriswil and the main road 16 between Konstanz and Wil and on the railway line through the Thur valley.
