Marty Friedman
Marty Friedman, actually Martin Adam Friedman ( born December 8, 1962 in Washington DC) is an American guitarist and host of a Japanese entertainment show about guitar playing.
Biography
Marty Friedman is known for his improvisations and his blend of western and Asian- sounding audio material phrasing. Its melody is more chord as a scale - oriented. His touch is very unconventional and he prefers Upstrokes, from bottom to top running attacks.
He played from 1990 until the end of 1999 with Megadeth, where he acted as lead guitarist. Prior to joining Megadeth, he founded in 1986 together with Jason Becker, the band Cacophony.
Before that he played (not to be confused with the eponymous female band ) and the sequel Hawaii at Vixen.
Along with Jason, he released two albums on the market, Go Off! and Speed Metal Symphony, which represent today milestones of the guitar world.
He currently lives in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, and is divorced from his ex-wife Chihiro. He hosted from 2006 to 2007 on TV Tokyo with rock Fujiyama own TV show, 2005 was a regular member of the program Hebimeta -san and also occurs regularly in other programs. In addition, he composed the piece Kirei na Senritsu of Kotoko.
Megadeth
After Cacophony broke up in 1989, Marty Friedman asked, after a tip of his friend Jeff Loomis, with the thrash metal band Megadeth ago.
