Maxime Ouellet

Maxime Ouellet ( born June 17, 1981 in Quebec City, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender, who was last to 2009 when the Poutrelles Delta de Sainte -Marie in the Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey under contract.

Career

Maxime Ouellet began his career in 1997 in the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL Quebec Remparts at the. He was voted the best goalkeeper in the league and selected a short time later in the NHL Entry Draft in 1999 by the Philadelphia Flyers in the first round to 22 out of 1999. He played one more year with the Remparts, before moving to the National Hockey League.

At the beginning of the 2000/01 season he played two games in the NHL and also two in the AHL for the Philadelphia Phantoms, the farm team of the Flyers. Then he was sent but again in the QMJHL, where he managed the rest of the season played in the Rouyn -Noranda Huskies.
