Me, Myself and I is a song by American R & B singer Beyoncé Knowles. The song is the third single of Knowles debut solo album Dangerously in Love in 2003 and is about a stalker. The single reached number 4 for two weeks in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and became Knowles fourth top-four single in the United States. There is a remix version of the song by Punjabi MC.
Background and composition
In an interview with MTV News, Beyonce said about the piece:
"... It is about a girl who is along with the wrong type, they do not leave them alone. Women feel stupid and silly in such situations and ashamed, because they know that it is not good for them, but do not wish to leave him. And in this song, the Breakup is celebrated ... "
