Hollywood is a song by the American rapper Jay- Z from his ninth music album Kingdom Come (2006). The song is a collaboration and a duet with his current wife, the American singer Beyoncé Knowles. The song was written by Shawn Carter, Shaffer Smith and produced by Reggie " Syience " Perry. Hollywood is a hip hop R & B song.
Music critics praised the musical rendition of the song and especially Beyoncé Knowles song. All rap verse from Jay- Z were removed and replaced by Knowles singing. Jay -Z's rap verses the ending of the song, was imitated by Knowles, as she raps the finale song. In the chorus you can hear Jay -Z in the background. Knowles solo - version of the song also appeared on their live album The Beyoncé Experience 2007. A karaoke version of Welcome to Hollywood appeared in 2008 on their album Beyoncé Karaoke Karaoke Hits, Vol I.
