The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour
The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour is the fifth world tour, the singer Beyoncé Knowles. The tour is promoting her fourth studio album Beyonce opened the tour on April 15, 2013 in Belgrade, Serbia, and it is expected to end in March 2014.
Background
The tour was announced after Knowles appearance at the halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII. The name of the tour is a reference to Knowles marriage with Shawn " Jay -Z" Carter.
The two planned concerts in Germany in Munich and Berlin were sold out within 20 minutes, so that Knowles decided to give an additional concert in Berlin.
During the concerts Knowles is supported by nine dancers. As on her I Am ... Tour takes over the part of the background singers the band The Mamas. Furthermore, it is supported by the two street dancers Les Twins in some dance routines. Appear between the songs on a large LED wall several video clips of Knowles. In addition to the main stage, a second stage, the so-called B-stage was used. This is located in the rear third of the standing room only. Knowles floats during the show by rope over the audience at this stage and sings her songs Irreplaceable, Love on Top and Survivor there.
Most of the dresses and costumes used during the tour comes from the Italian fashion house Emilio Pucci.
For health reasons, the first of two concerts in Antwerp was canceled on May 14, 2013. This was rescheduled on May 31, 2013.
On June 24, 2013 New tour dates were released on Knowles website. Including was a second section of the tour in the U.S., due to the overwhelming demand on their first tour section and a second section of the tour in South America with a series of appearances at stadiums in Brazil. On July 7, 13 concert dates in Australia and New Zealand were announced. The concert in Auckland Knowles first concert as a solo artist in New Zealand.
