Michael Booker (figure skater)

Michael Robert Booker ( born April 16, 1937 in Islington, England) is a former British figure skater, who started in a single run.

From 1953 to 1958 he was the sixth consecutive British champion. During the same period he participated in all European Championships and World Championships. At the European Championships, he was there never worse than fourth. 1955 and 1956 he was European Vice-Champion behind Alain Giletti and 1957 he won bronze. At the World Championships his best result of fifth place in 1956. Was in this year he also took part in the Olympic Games in Cortina d' Ampezzo part and finished it in sixth place.
