Michael Dacher
Michael " Michl " roofs (* August 21, 1933; † 3 December 1994 Peiting ) was a German mountaineer and extreme climber. In 1979, he boarded with Reinhold Messner the K2 in record time and without oxygen. He has climbed in his life ten eight-thousanders.
Dacher died in 1994 at the age of 61 years suddenly in sleep of heart failure.
After Michael Staudacher high school in Khadambas, a village 80 km east of Kathmandu in Nepal, and named a street in his hometown Peiting.
