Middle Rhine Cup

The Middle Rhine Cup (also known as FVM Cup since the 2011/12 season as Bitburger Cup played ) is the association Cup of the Football Association, the Middle Rhine. It is played in five rounds ( knockout ) system. The respective pairings are determined by lottery. The winner of the Middle Rhine Cup automatically qualifies for the DFB Cup. Besides the competition for men teams in the Football Association Middle Rhine FVM-Pokale/Mittelrheinpokale aimed for women, from the A- to D - Juniors, as well as the B- and C- Junior.

The end of the Cup

The first main round at FVM - level is played with 32 teams. The number of participants 32 is determined as follows:

The nine football circles represent each two teams = 18 teams. The circles identify the two teams and a possible third party on the Circle Cup rounds. In addition, regional and league teams from the association area that are automatically qualified for the first FVM main round.
