Milan Majstorović

Milan Majstorovic ( Serbian Cyrillic Милан Мајсторовић; born January 28, 1983 in Novi Sad, SR Serbia) is a Serbian professional basketball player who is usually employed in the position of power forwards. He has played in the German Basketball Bundesliga for the EWE Baskets Oldenburg, with whom he was German champion in 2009. Since 2013 he plays in Poland for Trefl Sopot.

Career

The 2.07 m wide Majstorovic, who despite his size to be a good distance thrower, started his basketball career in the youth department of the then Yugoslav club Spartak Subotica. There he quickly made ​​the breakthrough and made ​​his debut at age 18 in the first team of the club. Majstorovic fought quickly to the high level approach, was able to achieve an average of between eight and nine points per season in two years, and thus recommended for higher tasks. After winning the gold medal at the Summer Universiade in 2003 with the Serbian- Montenegrin student selection left the former youth and junior national team the club and signed a contract with KK Reflex Belgrade, where he gained international experience in the ULEB Cup for the first time and 2004, the ABA League won. The following year they won the Serbian- Montenegrin Cup competition. After two years and a highly successful international season in which Majstorovic could reach 11.3 points per game, he was obliged in 2007 by CB Bilbao Berri from the Liga ACB. Once the two- year contract, the Bosnian- Serbian coach Predrag Krunić Majstorovic 2007 brought the German first division EWE Baskets Oldenburg made ​​in the National Basketball League.
