Moose Lake is a small town ( with a status of "City" ) in Carlton County in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Minnesota. In 2010, Moose Lake had 2751 inhabitants.

Geography

Moose Lake is located around the Moosehead Lake, which is drained by the Moose Horn River, a tributary of the Kettle River. The city is located at 46 ° 27'15 " north latitude and 92 ° 45'43 " west longitude. It covers 9.48 km ², spread over 8.47 km ² land and 1.01 km ² water surface.

Along the south-eastern edge of the Interstate 35 runs, the shortest route from the Twin Cities to Duluth.
