Carlton County, Minnesota

The Carlton County is a county located in the U.S. state of Minnesota. In 2010, the County had 35 386 inhabitants and a population density of 15.9 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Carlton.

Parts of the Fond du Lac Reservation, an Indian reservation of the Anishinabe, are in Carlton County.

Geography

The County is located in northeastern Minnesota, and is bordered to the east by Wisconsin. It has an area of ​​2267 square kilometers, of which 39 square kilometers are water surface.

History
