Le Sueur County, Minnesota
The Le Sueur County is a county located in the U.S. state of Minnesota. In 2010, the County had 27,703 inhabitants and a population density of 23.9 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Le Center.
Geography
The County is located in the central southeastern part of Minnesota on the east bank of the Minnesota River. It has an area of 1227 square kilometers, of which 66 square kilometers are water surface. At the Le Sueur County borders the following Nachbarcountys:
History
The Le Sueur County was formed on March 5, 1853 from portions of Dakota County. It was named after Pierre Charles Le Sueur.

According to the census in 2010, lived in Le Sueur County 27,703 people in 10,938 households. The population density was 23.9 inhabitants per square kilometer. In the 10,938 households lived statistically 2.51 per person.
