The Jackson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Minnesota. In 2010, the County had 10,266 inhabitants and a population density of 5.6 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Jackson.
Geography
The County is located in southern Minnesota, Iowa, and is adjacent to the west about 80 miles from South Dakota removed. It has an area of 1863 square kilometers, of which 46 square kilometers are water surface.

History
