Moravský Písek

Moravian Pisek, until 1924 Pisek ( German Moravian Pisek, formerly Pissek ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers west of Uherský Ostroh and belongs to Okres Hodonín.

Geography

Moravian Pisek is located at the southeast foot of Kyjovská pahorkatina in Dolnomoravský úval ( Southern March basin) on the edge of a sand dune.
