Morgan De Sanctis ( March 26, 1977 in Guardiagrele, Province of Chieti ) is an Italian football goalkeeper who is under contract with AS Roma.

Career

In the club

De Sanctis began his professional career in 1994 in his home in Abruzzo Pescara Calcio in Serie B. In 1997 he moved to the Serie A giants Juventus, but remained there only substitute goalkeeper. In two years he came only three bets and then moved to Udinese Calcio. Even he could not initially enforce and stayed for two years mostly on the substitutes' bench. As recently as 2001 De Sanctis became the first-choice goalkeeper.

In summer 2007, he moved to Spanish side Sevilla FC. He had, however, usually behind the goalkeeper Andrés Palop first classified. Seville gave him out for the season 2008/ 09 on the Turkish club Galatasaray, for whom he played a strong season and Turkish Supercup winner was. In June 2009 he signed a three -year contract with Napoli.

In the National Team
