Motta de' Conti

Motta de ' Conti ( Piedmontese La Mota ) is a municipality with 802 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Vercelli (VC ), Region Piedmont. The A26 motorway is 3 km east of the village.

Location

The village is located about 16 km southeast of the provincial capital of Vercelli on a tributary reaches of the Sesia. The neighboring municipalities are Candia Lomellina (SO), Caresana (4 km to the north), Casale Monferrato (10 km to the southwest ), Langosco (5 km to the northeast ) and Villanova Monferrato (4 km to the west). To the place also includes the hamlet of Mantie.

As patron saint of the town is considered the Holy Annunziata.

The municipality covers an area of 11 km ².
