Moustapha Niasse

Moustapha Niasse (* November 4, 1939 in Keur Madiabel ) was in 1983 and 2000 to 2001 Prime Minister of Senegal.

Political career

Niasse comes from a small town near Kaolack. After attending school in his hometown, he attended the Lycée Faidherbe in Saint Louis. He studied in Paris and Dakar. In 1967 he was press and information director and in 1970 director of the Cabinet Leopold Sedar Senghor longtime president.
