Municipality of Pesnica
Pešnica ( German: Pößnitzhofen ) is a municipality in the Lower Styria region in Slovenia.
Location and population
In the overall community consisting of 30 villages and hamlets, 7,532 people live. The main town Pešnica pri Mariboru alone has 814 inhabitants and is situated on 307 meters on the river Pešnica ( Pößnitzbach ). The municipality is located north of Maribor near the border with Austria.
