Naga, Camarines Sur

Naga City ( Bikolano: Ciudad nin Naga; Filipino: Lungsod ng Naga ) is a Philippine city. It lies in the southeastern part of the island of Luzon in the Bicol region in the province of Camarines Sur approximately 280 kilometers southeast of Manila. It is spoken Bikolano, Filipino / Tagalog and English.

The discovery of the place by the conquistador Juan de Salcedo can be traced back to 1573. Only since 1919, the place is called Naga, before that was the name, called by the Spaniards in Nueva Caceres place yet. The inhabitants are called Naga 's Nagueños.
