NAGEMA

NAGEMA (also Nagema ) was from 1948 to 1990, the acronym for a consortium of engineering companies, with headquarters in Dresden. The acronym stands for Food (Na) and sweets ( ge) Mechanical Engineering ( ma).

Size

Important products

The product of Nagema included packaging machines of all kinds, which were intended for the CMEA countries but also for the NSW. News from Nagema were regularly seen at the Leipzig Fair.

Specifically machines for hard and soft caramels at the main plant in Dresden were manufactured with a capacity of up to 1500 pieces per minute and lines for group packaging ( HM), cardboard packaging ( SF) and palletizing together.
