Naoki Prize
The Naoki Prize (Japanese直 木 三 十五 赏Naoki Sanjūgo shō, short直 木 赏Naoki shō ), named after Naoki Sanjūgo, the counterpart of the Akutagawa Prize is in the field of popular entertaining literature ( Taishō Bungaku ).
The also donated by Kikuchi Kan Prize has been awarded since 1935 every six months to young writers. The price is (日本 文学 振兴 会, " Association for Japanese literature " ) administered by the Japanese Nihon Bungaku Shinkokai Foundation. The winners are selected by a committee, composed of well-known writers.
