Nataliya Synyshyn

Natalija Ihoriwna Synyschyn (Ukrainian Наталія Ігорівна Синишин; born July 3, 1985 in Sosniwka, Lviv Oblast ) is a Ukrainian wrestler. It was 2009 and 2012, European champion in the weight class up to 55 kg body weight.

Career

Natalija Synyschyn began as a teenager in 1998 with the rings. She is a member of Dynamo / Spartak Lviv and being or has been coached by Viktor Glibenko and Oleg Sazonov. After a physical education teacher degree, she is active at the moment exclusively as a wrestler. The 1.60 meter tall athlete starts either in the weight class up to 55 kg or in up to 59 kg body weight.

At the international wrestling mat, they first appeared in 2005. Occupied while you at the World Cup in Clermont- Ferrand in the weight class up to 59 kg behind Ayako Shoda, Japan, Sally Roberts, U.S. and Yoselin Urbica Rojas, Venezuela the 4th Place. Then they came at the World Junior Championship in Vilnius in the same weight class after two wins and two defeat to Kei Yamana, Japan and Viktoriya Grigoriev from Latvia to 5th place. A month later they celebrated their then largest ever success, it was namely in Wroclaw Junior European Champion. She referred to Julia Ratkewitsch from Belarus, Larissa Kanaeva from Russia and Anna Swiridowska from Poland excellent wrestlers to the places.

Enjoyed great success Natalija Synyschyn in the years 2006 to 2009. It started with a third place finish at the 2006 World Cup in Guangzhou in the weight category to 59 kg. She defeated among others there Erin Tomeo from the United States and Marianna Sastin from Hungary. A defeat they suffered from Su Lihai from China. In 2007, she was at the European Championships in Sofia in the weight class up to 55 kg European silver medalist. In the final battle she lost against Natalya Golz from Russia. Previously, she had, inter alia, Defeated Anna Gomis of France and Ludmila Cristea of Romania. At the World Championships this year in Baku, she won a bronze medal again. After a loss to the surprise world champion Audrey Prieto from France, she won this medal by defeating Sandra Roa from Colombia.

Another bronze medal won Natalija Synyschyn at the 2008 European Championships in Tampere. After a defeat against Elvira Mursalowa from Azerbaijan they won this medal by beating Agata Pietrzyk of Poland and Tatiana Bochan from Belarus. In 2009, then with the ladies celebrated their first title at an international championship. It was in Vilnius European champion in the weight class up to 55 kg body weight. On the way to this success they defeated Silwia Bilanska from Poland, Valentina Minguzzi from Italy and Alena Filipowa from Belarus.

Were marred these successes by the poor performance of Natalija Synyschyn at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and at the 2009 World Championships in Herning / Denmark. In Beijing, she lost her first fight against Marcie van Dusen from the United States, left, and came only to 12th place. Back on track Natalja Synyschyn was then at the European Championships 2012 in Belgrade, where she won her second European title with a victory in the final over Sofia Matsson.
